Virginia - pt1

because even in the U.S.A., there are adventures to be found.

This time around, I went to see someone who has had a chunk of my heart for a decade. I was able to spend time with her, her husband, and their adorable daughter (my g-daughter.) I had seen them in ages. It felt like coming home.

This trip also doubled as Nova-Luna’s first trip as my Emotional Support Animal. She is still only 8 months old, so this was an intense adventure for her. She was wonderful, even still, because she was extremely calm and well behaved. She did become overwhelmed/overstimulated when we were flying out to Virginia. She was worlds more confident on the trip back. I learned a lot about myself and about her on this trip. I’m so grateful to have her in my life.
(S/N: she was beside herself with goofy energy when we arrived back in H.Q. She ran around all night long in the back yard and was instantly back in her skin like nothing crazy had happened. She’s such a good dog.)
